THE FIRST SNOW OF THE YEAR!!

Witchalina came again!

This is the story Witchalina left for us last night.
The kids had a great time trying to pick up the paper with just one finger.

We were a little confused about the clue to the treat. The kids were looking all around the washer and dryer but it took them a few minutes to think to look inside.

They were so excited to find a big tub of glow-in-the-dark perler beads. They are the kids new favorite craft medium.
Thank you Witchalina!!!

We are so lucky!!

At Christmas time we have an elf that visits us. His name is Rizban and at night he goes to the North Pole to report to Santa. The kids love Rizban and have been looking forward to him coming for another visit soon. So you can imagine our surprise and excitement when we found a Witch visitor yesterday. She had a note saying her name is Witchalina and she will bring stories, games, and treats. The kids were freaking out. Patrick kept looking at her and is pretty sure he saw her blink.
Last night while I was making dinner and the kids were playing computer she left us this note.

Here is Witchalina and the silly glasses she brought for the kids. She taped them to the bottom of their chairs. I took a few minutes before Samantha thought to look up under her seat. As soon as Patrick found his glasses he went over to say Thank You to Witchalina. Samantha and the boys left her a plate of dinner last night and were super excited to see that she had eaten it. We can't wait to see what Witchalina has for us tonight!!

Fire Station Open House

Tonight was the annual fire station open house.
The kids love it!
They got to climb around in this fire engine.
They got to check out a helicopter.
They each got to put out this fire with an extinguisher.

And Samantha and the boys got to use a real fire hose.

Samantha got to put on fire fighter gear in a race.
All this and Balloons and cookies and their picture with Sparky the Dog.
The best part.....it was all free!

Mohawks!!

I came home from my pack meeting Tuesday to find my
sweet little boys with new hair cuts.

I was surprised and a little sad at how grown up they looked.
They wanted to keep them to show their friends at school but in the end
Dale shaved them off that night.

Puppies Gone Wild

The puppies got to go outside for a few hours while I cleaned their pen. Most of their time was spent snuggled together on a blanket and sleeping but here are some pics of them wondering around in the dirt. They are starting to walk really well, not so wobbly!

This is Little Man. He's the oldest and the closest thing to a runt we have.

This is Spot (AKA Dot JR.) He's the #2 pup. He has the dot like Dot.

This is One Eyed Wendy. She's #3. She's giving her sister a run for her money in the size dept.

And last but not least is Fatty. She's the youngest and the biggest, thus the name. She's the only one with a long tail. It's so cute with a white tip. We are thinking about keeping her.
