Last week the kids got to see a magic show at the library. Patrick can't stop talking about how the magician drew a bird on a balloon, dropped it off a table and a dove came out.
He's been trying to reenact the trick all night.
He's wiggled his fingers every way he can think of.
He's dropped the balloon off the table fast and slow.
In the end he has a popped balloon. At least he isn't in tears.
Today we took a trip to Meteor Crater. We drive by every time we go to Flagstaff and we FINALLY stopped. It was so hot but we had a great time.
This is a replica of the Apollo capsule After Meteor Crater we went to Flagstaff and ate at Red Lobster. Samantha has been begging to go there but I'm not a sea food person. Dale promised they'd had have chicken (& it was supper yummy) so we went. It was a fun day and the kids are already asking to go back!
We had to pick up the house boat early Monday morning so we met everyone in Blanding on Sunday. It was nice to not have to rush!
We drove through Monument Valley
We also saw Mexican Hat
We stopped at Gooseneck National Park. The first thing Patrick said was," If I had a parachute and my swim suit I'd be set". Later he thought he better have his life jacket too.
We saw a lot of lizards.
And what would a road trip be without a road-side pee?!
